4.73 x 7.09 inch paperback book.
Made in collaboration with São Paulo's Clube Nacional, Section 348 takes its title from the Canadian Criminal Code provision addressing "breaking and entering with intent, committing offence, or breaking out." Using photographs produced by the Société de transport de Montréal's security personnel, the book examines bureaucratic images documenting unauthorized entries into Montreal Metro facilities between the 2010s and 2020s. Originally created as evidence following graffiti-related incursions, these photographs capture tunnels, empty stations, maintenance areas, and other restricted spaces rarely seen by the public. Removed from their original function, they reveal the hidden infrastructures, pathways, and acts of access that make transit graffiti possible.
